Wire Harnnes/PCB Assembler
REPORTS TO: Assembly Manager
Responsibilities include
- Working with team routing and tying wires to form wire harnesses used in telecommunications and higher reliability electronic equipment or systems
- Working with team assembling PCB Boards
- Operating automatic equipment for surface mount and mixed – technology boards
- Hand-soldering boards as needed
- Read assembly drawings and blueprints
- Terminating wires using hand and/or automatic crimp tools
- Inspecting harnesses and PCBs for defects
- Performing automated testing of harnesses
- Preparing wires for termination
- Interfacing with test and engineering groups for problem solving.
Qualifications include
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years experience in wire harness and/or PCB assembly
- Ability to read blue prints and diagrams
- Detailed oriented
- Ability to work with their hands
- Knowledge of IPC standards a plus
- Experience with AMP CLS4 machine a plus
- Experience with QUAD Pick & Place machines a plus
