Tracewell Systems Addresses the 2009 Unmanned Systems Symposium

COLUMBUS, Ohio-Tracewell Systems was recently recognized for their expertise in the Unmanned Systems Market when company executive vice president, Matt Tracewell, was selected as one of just a few non-government speakers at the two-day Unmanned Systems Symposium in Wichita, Kansas.
Held this past April, highlights of the Symposium included a briefing on the Kansas UAV Strategy, UAS demonstrations of Unmanned Technologies including flight demonstrations of the Aerosonde and other UAV OEMs, and major briefings concerning UAS technologies that solve National Guard and civilian emergency missions. The main event of the 2009 Symposium was the official rollout of the Kansas UAV Technology Evaluation Center.
Tracewell addressed the subject of UAS Payload Advanced Packaging Technology Needs and Priorities. Keynote speakers included Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins, US Representative, Kansas 2nd Congressional District; Major General Tod Bunting, Kansas Adjutant General; and Secretary David Kerr, Kansas Department of Commerce, Secretary of Commerce.
