GTSI Corp. and Tracewell Systems form Partnership
August 12, 2009
Tracewell Systems has formed a partnership with GTSI Corp. to market Tracewell's family of E-Tool Mobile Manager cabinets to the United States Government. The two companies have a long and successful history of supporting the U.S. Government's needs. Since 1973, Tracewell has been designing and manufacturing electronic packaging, allowing for Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) electronics to be deployed in the most environmentally-challenged conditions where they typically would not survive. Since 1983, GTSI has provided technology products, professional services and IT infrastructure solutions to Federal, state and local government. As a result, GTSI has been able to help agencies meet the infrastructure demands and performance requirements of technology-enabled government, from program inception to end-of-life.
"GTSI is a well-respected company with a seasoned and knowledgeable sales force, along with complex integration and support capabilities," comments Rob Harris, Tracewell's Director of Sales and Marketing. "Tracewell's product design and unique manufacturing techniques makes for a natural partnership between the companies."
Chris Maletick, Director of Air Force and DOD sales adds, "There are tremendous opportunities to streamline the Department of Defense's maintenance of aircraft and related systems by electronically enabling its maintenance personnel to quickly trouble shoot and diagnose problems with the use of emerging technologies. GTSI's capabilities and Tracewell's know-how will greatly impact the government's electronic maintenance strategy." For more on Tracewell Systems please visit www.tracewell.com.
